About Pelumi

Pelumi started her legal career in the law firm of G. Elias & Co. At G. Elias, she was part of the Firm’s banking, structured products, project finance, real estate and insolvency practices. As part of her role, she was advising issuers and other professional parties including trustees and issuing houses on diverse security and capital market raising transactions including corporate and state bond issues, equity public offerings, global depository receipt instruments offerings, commercial papers issues, Sukuk Islamic, balanced and fixed-income funds, amongst others, providing advisory and legal services on merger & acquisition transactions in telecommunications and investment banking sectors; advising both the vendor and purchaser at different occasions, providing advisory and legal services on corporate and trade finance transactions representing either the lenders, finance parties (including security trustees and agents), and the borrower, providing advisory and legal services on project financing, acquisition, acquisition financing in oil and gas, infrastructure and energy sectors (including the negotiation of key agreements).

Mrs. Oset graduated from the University of the Lagos and was at the law school a recipient of the Director General’s Prize for First Class Students.

She is a student member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. She is also the Head of Human Resources, Legal and Administration at City Church.
