Kemi is an alumna of the University of Wales, Aberystywyth. She started out her legal career as an intern at Pittallis & Co, London, UK, before going on to qualify as a solicitor in England and Wales. Afterward, she worked at the Royal Bank of Scotland, Birmingham, UK, across their various departments, to obtain insight and knowledge as to the banking industry and the relevant laws and guidelines pertinent to it.
Upon completion of the Nigerian Law School programme, she worked at Udo Udoma and Belo Osagie, where she gained knowledge on asset management, merger and acquisitions transactions in different fields, property sale sand acquisitions, private equity management, capital markets and carried out numerous due diligence reviews
She then proceeded to work at Lagos State Development and Property Corporation (“LSPDC”) as a legal officer. She was responsible for reviewing client files and determining the correct line of ownership, sale and purchase transactions of land and buildings, dispute resolutions, preparing litigation documents and liaising with the different agencies in Lagos state to enable seamless transactions. She was also responsible for carrying out searches to determine the title and ownership of properties.
Kemi is a Partner with the Firm and she brings on board her rich experience garnered both in Nigeria and the United Kingdom.
